How can I subset a data table based on a column's value?

To subset a data table based on a value in a column, do the following:

  1. Select the columns to appear in the new data table by highlighting the column names. By default, all columns are transferred to the subsetted data table.
  2. Select Select Where from Row Selection under the Rows menu.
  3. Select a column and comparison and enter a value to find in the Select Rows dialog.
  4. Click OK. The rows is the data table will now be selected based on the criteria selected.
  5. Select Subset from the Tables menu.
