I want my numeric data column to have a modeling type of Continuous, but it is grayed out from the pop-up menu. What can I do?

You will need to change the data type of the column to Numeric rather than Character. To do this, do the following:

1. Select the column.
2. Select Column Info from the Cols menu.
3. Select Numeric for the Data Type field.
4. Click OK.
